Job title: Entertainment Coordinator

Reports to: Committee Chair

Job Purpose: The entertainment coordinator is primarily responsible for the recruitment of event talent, both professional and amateur.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Determine rules for amateur talent submission (subject matter, family-friendly, etc.)
  • Advertise for talent (i.e. Facebook, videos, MailChimp email)
  • Work with the committee chair and treasurer to establish entertainment budget
  • Communicate with Committee chair and treasurer regarding agreements (fees, hotel space, booth spaces,etc.)
  • Communicate with talent (i.e. Needs, schedules, etc.)
  • Creates talent schedule and manages schedule and talent during the event

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in sign language
  • Comfortable using social media
  • Comfortable in a variety of social settings
  • Leadership abilities
  • Willingness to learn
